FIVE men wearing balaclavas have forced their way into a home in Sydney's west and assaulted a couple aged in their sixties.
Police say the home invasion took place about 12.25am (AEDT) on Saturday at Concord but it was believed nothing was stolen.
The men fled the scene in a vehicle parked nearby.
The couple were taken to Concord Hospital, the man suffering a head wound and the woman a shoulder injury.
The five offenders have been described as wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
