A HOUSE fire has uncovered a suspected hydroponic set up at a home in Sydney's north west.
Emergency Services were called to Bettington Road, Carlingford, at 7.30pm to find the property well alight.
Once the blaze was extinguished officers located a large quantity of cannabis plants as well as a hydroponic set up in an underground storage area.
Witnesses have told police they saw a woman leaving the vicinity of the home in a dark gray BMW sedan and a man leave in a gray Toyota Hilux utility.
They were both headed towards Felton Road.
Police will remain at the scene until forensic officers arrive in the morning.
